THE STORY BEHIND THE GLORY

While in the university, i desired to be married at the age of 25 which was 2010, but nothing to show, so i knew it was merely a wish, so i decided to enroll for a bible course (WOFBI) for spiritual empowerment, while at the bible school, i had one question on my mind, which was "God what year? if not 25?" and what kind of man? while walking to the school one morning, i saw 28, so i said God are you saying its by 28 years? then i had peace, so whenever anybody asked me when i was getting married, i said 2013 and i will get married to a minister of the gospel. so i continued living my life until 28 September 2012, at about 11:30pm, sobbing on my bed, not knowing what else to do, because no relationship, no man ready to propose marriage, i cried my heart to God, and to him Lord, if truly you do miracles, then do me a miracle concerning my marital destiny, bring a man i do not even know, whoever can propose marriage to me, i will say yes, and that this shiloh 2012 was going to be my last Shiloh in canaanland as a single lady. (Someone might say i was desperate, yea i really wanted to get married because i knew my destiny was connected to my marriage) i won't be able to fulfill purpose without me getting married.

MARRIAGE IS GOLDEN

 WHAT IS MARRIAGE?
Marriage is the successful combination of a man and a woman in Holy wedlock. The man in this union is called the Husband, and the woman in this union is called the wife.

For every union, product, organization, there is what we call manual, constitution, guide and so on. For the purpose of marriage, from the biblical point of view, the Holy Bible is the constitution for the union of marriage, and it has highlighted each responsibility to every party to the union. Husband and wife as well.

A FEW LOOK AT THIS RESPONSIBILITIES

WIVES
1 Wives, Submit to your husbands.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

What does it mean to submit to your husband?
It means to humble yourself, irrespective of your qualification and attainment, be gently in spirit and in speech, respectful openly and most especially in the heart. Being able to say yes my Lord to your husband, not argumentative, even if he isn't right on an issue, you give him some time to explain things to him, agreeing to his ruler-ship over you.

1 Peter 3:1-6(THE MESSAGE BIBLE)
The same goes for you wives: Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs. There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated 2 by your life of holy beauty. 3 What matters is not your outer appearance — the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes —   4 but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in. 5 The holy women of old were beautiful before God that way, and were good, loyal wives to their husbands. 6 Sarah, for instance, taking care of Abraham, would address him as "my dear husband." You'll be true daughters of Sarah if you do the same, unanxious and unintimidated.

HUSBANDS
1. Husbands Love you wives.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

What does it mean to Love you wife?

1 Peter 3:7 The same goes for you husbands: BE GOOD HUSBANDS TO YOUR WIVES. HONOR THEM, DELIGHT IN THEM. As women they lack some of your advantages. But in the new life of God's grace, you're equals. Treat your wives, then, as equals so your prayers don't run aground. (THE MESSAGE BIBLE)

Col 3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
WHAT IS LOVE?
1 Cor 13:4-8
4 Love is PATIENT, love is KIND. It DOES NOT ENVY, it DOES NOT BOAST, it is NOT PROUD. 5 It is NOT RUDE, it is NOT SELF-SEEKING, it is NOT EASILY ANGERED, it KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS. 6 Love DOES NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL but REJOICES WITH THE TRUTH. 7 It ALWAYS PROTECTS, ALWAYS TRUSTS, ALWAYS HOPES, ALWAYS PERSEVERES.
8 Love NEVER FAILS.

Husbands and would be husbands' love should be weighed on this scale and be used as a love-check for those who desires to improve on themselves.

IF THIS TWO BASIC INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE ADHERED BY BOTH PARTIES TO THE UNION, THAT MARRIAGE WILL SCALE HEIGHTS, BECOME A MODEL FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW, AND DESIRED PRAYER POINT FOR OTHERS.
HOWEVER, IT TAKES DEDICATION AND COMMITMENT TO SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBAND, YOU MAY NOT AGREE TO MOST OF THEIR ACTIONS, BUT THE BIBLE SAY SUBMIT, THAT IS YOU RESPONSIBILITY AS A WIFE, YOU SIMPLY GO AHEAD AND SAY OK SIR, WHEN HIS MIND IS COOL AND AT REST, THEN YOU CAN TENDER YOUR OPINION, AND YOU DON'T MAD IF HE DOESN'T AGREE WITH YOUR OPINION, JUST LEARN TO TRUST HIS LEADERSHIP ALWAYS, THE BEST YOU CAN DO AND YOU SHOULD DO, IS TO ALWAYS PRAY FOR HIM, SO AS TO ALWAYS MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO BE HAVING SOME UNNECESSARY ARGUMENTS, IF YOU CHECK IT VERY WELL, MOST LADIES WHO ARGUE, FIGHTS AND QUARREL THEIR HUSBANDS, NEVER PRAY FOR THEIR HUSBANDS, THAT IS WHY HE KEEPS ACTING IN MANNERS THAT GETS YOU FRUSTRATED

YOU MAY SAY HEY! I'M BEING TOO HARD ON THE WIVES, MEN ALSO HAVE THEIR ISSUES, BUT REMEMBER THE BIBLE SAYS IN PROVERBS," A WISE WOMAN BUILDS HER HOUSE"!!!

Prov 14:14 The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands NKJV
YOU SEE THE HOME BUILDING LIES WITH THE WOMAN, AND ITS IN HER SUBMISSION, THE THING IS SUBMISSION ISN'T WEAKNESS, BUT STRENGTH IN DISGUISE, ONLY A STRONG PERSON CAN APOLOGIES AND SAY I AM SORRY, EVEN FOR AND OFFENSE HE OR SHE DIDN'T COMMIT.

FINALLY, ALL THESE CANT BE DONE IN THE ENERGY OF THE FLESH, IT ONLY TAKES THE GRACE OF GOD THROUGH HIS SPIRIT, AND YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN TO ACCESS THE SPIRIT OF GOD, YOU CAN SIMPLY DO THAT NOW BY SAYING THIS SHORT PRAYER: LORD JESUS, I COME TO YOU TODAY AS A SINNER, I REPENT OF ALL MY SINS, PLEASE FORGIVE, I ACKNOWLEDGE YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD WHO DIED FOR MY SINS, CLEANSE ME AND MAKE ME WHOLE AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME, NOW I NOW I AM BORN AGAIN.

CONGRATULATIONS, I SEE GOD WORKING OUT A MIRACLE FOR YOU NOW, PRAISE GOD

YOU COMMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS ARE WELCOMED.

THE CEDARS OF LEBANON

The cedars of Lebanon which He hath planted."

Psalm 104:16
Lebanon's cedars are emblematic of the Christian, in that they owe their planting entirely to the Lord. This is quite true of every child of God. He is not man-planted, nor self-planted, but God-planted. The mysterious hand of the divine Spirit dropped the living seed into a heart which He had Himself prepared for its reception. Every true heir of heaven owns the great Husbandman as his planter. Moreover, the cedars of Lebanon are not dependent upon man for their watering; they stand on the lofty rock, unmoistened by human irrigation; and yet our heavenly Father supplieth them. Thus it is with the Christian who has learned to live by faith. He is independent of man, even in temporal things; for his continued maintenance he looks to the Lord his God, and to Him alone. The dew of heaven is his portion, and the God of heaven is his fountain. Again, the cedars of Lebanon are not protected by any mortal power. They owe nothing to man for their preservation from stormy wind and tempest. They are God's trees, kept and preserved by Him, and by Him alone. It is precisely the same with the Christian. He is not a hot-house plant, sheltered from temptation; he stands in the most exposed position; he has no shelter, no protection, except this, that the broad wings of the eternal God always cover the cedars which He Himself has planted. Like cedars, believers are full of sap having vitality enough to be ever green, even amid winter's snows. Lastly, the flourishing and majestic condition of the cedar is to the praise of God only. The Lord, even the Lord alone hath been everything unto the cedars, and, therefore David very sweetly puts it in one of the psalms, "Praise ye the Lord, fruitful trees and all cedars." In the believer there is nothing that can magnify man; he is planted, nourished, and protected by the Lord's own hand, and to Him let all the glory be ascribed.
