God is our glory, he has revealed to us his glory and greatness and so we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for this is the power of God unto salvation. Our whole existence, depends on this, for in him we have life.- believemmanuel

ISAIAH 13:6-13 (KJV)

……the Lord gave the word: great was the company (Heb: army) of those that published it.  Ps 68:11

⁶ Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. ⁷ Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: ⁸ And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. ⁹ Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ¹¹ And I will punish THE WORLD for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. ¹² I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.¹³ Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Now the same day that burn like oven is the same day of healing by the rising of the sun, the same day of darkness and gross darkness is the same day of glory and the rising of the light, the same day of gloominess and dark clouds upon the mountains is the same day of a great and a strong people.

MALACHI 4:2 (KJV)

² But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

ISAIAH 60:2

but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

JOEL 2:2 (KJV)

a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

 ISAIAH 61:2 (ASV) says

² to proclaim the year of Jehovah's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God;

The year of Jehovah’s favor is the same day of his vengeance, which very day we are in now!

Who are to partake of the vengeance or the favor?

The unbelievers, the proud, the wicked, the rich fool are to partake of the vengeance of God

The believers, the righteous, those who fear the lord are to partake of his favor.

DON’T STOP SAYING IT (PART 1)

Brethren we are living in a day! However we must be conscious of a thing and that is the fact that God is the one speaking and a day in the sight of God could mean a thousand years, it could mean a year, a month or several weeks.

Now what about the day we are living in? It’s a day of gloominess, a day of darkness, a day of intense heat (for the people of the world, and they call it economic melt down, distress and the rest) according to the book of

MALACHI 4:1 (KJV)

¹ For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

and in ISAIAH 60:2 He says

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people

JOEL and ZEPHANIAH also have something to say about this day!

JOEL 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains:

ZEPHANIAH 1:14-18 (KJV)

 ¹⁴ The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. ¹⁵ That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, ¹⁶ A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. ¹⁷ And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. ¹⁸ Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
